Greetings and Happy Thanksgiving!!!   All is abuzz from our show last weekend:  Anvil Motor and Menos.  Kudos to two great, all-original, local bands.  Look for them on myspace and your local venue listings.  The underground music scene is alive and well.  Don't be fooled by venues booking cover music.  Support your local musicians and artists that have the creativity, drive, and courage to share their creations with you.

Troegs MAD ELF!  Cool Showing our prowess and beer muscle, we have MAD ELF for your Holiday pleasure.  Yes, its in limited numbers but we have enough to get you through the Holiday and weekend!  Enjoy Responsibly!

This weekend's music schedule:

Friday Nov 23 @ 6pm NEPA Free Skatepark Art and Music Show!

Saturday Nov 24 @ 8pm LOUCH, The Green Chair, and My Dad's a Dinosaur.

See the full schedule at IBIMW SCHEDULE.

Its been a few weeks since the launch of IBIMW radio. We've had some technical gotcha's, some licensing nonsense, and other BS!

We've fixed all that and are looking for more submissions from indie musicians. We're interested your indie music AND commentary on the indie music scene. If you have something to say, rave or rant, commentary on your music, commentary on the local scene, etc, great! We'd like to hear from you.

To submit your original music or commentary, save your audio as an mp3 file and email to: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Many thanks to all who continue to support IBIMW's indie music venue an radio program and to all contributing musicians.

If you haven't tuned in to our stream yet, just point your web browser to: http://radio.ibimw.com

Many thanks and hope to see you soon!

Is it still important for new bands to get their music on traditional Broadcast Radio? I don't think so and here's what I think going to happen.:
Satellite & Web radio stock is going to soar, Broadcast radio stock will tank so dump it now if you have it. Broadcast radio will quickly become extinct, losing attention to MP3s, satellite radio, web radio, cellular broadcast. Make no mistake, Broadcast radio is doomed.. Consolidation won't kill it. Censorship will. Satellite & Web radio (at least Indie web radio) will grow rapidly, getting more consumer revenue and ad revenue. Broadcast TV will suffer the same way. Cable, satellite TV & Indie web radio will grow. Here's how it goes: Any medium that can be government-regulated will suffer; any medium free of government regulation will prosper.
Government censorship will grow until, all broadcasts become a thing of the past. Just thank the FCC & the BIG Record Labels.
So I do love the idea of Indie Web Radio, we can tell the FCC & Big Record labels to kiss our ass with a smile!
